Klemick & Gampel Participate in Race for the Cure
Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure is an annual breast cancer awareness and fundraising event that is held in the Miami-Dade area every year. The large gathering occurred on October 20ththis year, and more than 2,100 people arrived near the spot to race for breast cancer research funds. This was the 17th annual race, which involves a 5K walk and run, a one-mile fun run and a tot run for children. Most of the men and women who arrived at the event were wearing pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.
Vendors lined the streets selling pink T-shirts and other memorabilia for the cause. Because the attorneys at Klemick & Gampel care about those who are suffering, they put together a team of runners who participated in the event. In addition to participating, the attorneys at Klemick & Gampel bought team members T-shirts and sponsored them by feeding them energizing food to prepare for the race. The event began at 8:30 a.m. on October 30th after a 25 minute ceremony honoring breast cancer survivors.
