Hot off the press in Miami, Chrysler Recalling Hundreds of Thousands of SUVs!!
The Miami Herald recently reported that Chrysler is recalling some 300,000 SUVs for a possible brake failing system that prevents the brakes from operating properly during an uphill drive. We all think that SUVs are safer because they are bigger and more massive carriers of metal. However, I don't care how big your vehicle is . . . if the brakes don't work you may be in for a world of hurt.
If this wasn't bad enough, Honda is also recalling over a 150,000 Civics from the 2006-2007 models for a possible defect that effects the wheels.
It is good that these companies are addressing the problem. I just hope it happens fast before someone gets hurt, or worse. If that happens, god forbid, people should have
someone there to help them.Larry
