Do You Live Near the Most Dangerous Intersection in the Country?

Did you know that Miami is home to the most dangerous traffic intersection in the country?

The corner of Flamingo Road and Pines Boulevard is quite literally the intersection in American where the most accidents occur.

It's more dangerous than intersections in New York or even Los Angeles, where there are more drivers and more cars.

There were 357 accidents there last year. Thats a little under one accident every day.

In order for there to be so many accidents, there simply has to be a flaw in the way that the road is designed. This is something that the Miami city council should definitely take a look at.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a car accident in Miami, contact Klemick and Gampel for a free legal consultation today.

Florida Road is Called "A Six Lane Meat Grinder"

A Dateline report listed US-19 as one of the most dangerous roads in the country, with an astronomically high accident rate.

You can see the report by following this link.

Proving Your Case Might Be a Lot Easier

As Miami car accident lawyers, we here at Klemick and Gampel aren't very big fans of a lot of automotive technology. Most of it seems to be dedicated to distracting drivers, which leads to car crashes and injuries.

But we have a different mindset about a new piece of technology that can really help accident victims. Many new automobiles now have what is called an EDR (Event Data Recorder). This is very similar to a "black box recorder" that is in airplanes.

What these recorders do is record many of the important things that happen while you are driving. It will record speed, traction, stress on the frame, rpm's, etc. This is all information that can be used to help determine the circumstances if you get into an accident, and this could be immensely valuable in proving to stonewalling insurance companies that you were not at fault.

Read the article by following the link, and if you or a loved one get injured in a car accident, contact Miami car accident attorneys Klemick and Gampel today.

Celebrity Justice in Florida?

Nick Hogan, son of professional wrestler "Hulk" Hogan, got out of jail a few days ago.

He was serving a sentence for a Florida car crash in August last year that left his best friend John Graziano with permanent brain injuries.

All told, he served about five and a half months. His passenger and best friend will be left in a permanent vegatative state, and will need complete medical care for what passes as the rest of his life.

According to the article, Nick Hogan wants to "do good" for the rest of his life. For one thing, he can make sure that not only will Mr. Graziano's medical bills are taken care of, but also that the Graziano family will be financially compensated for the loss of their son. That would be a good place to start.

If he further want's to "do good," he can actively campaign against the sort of drag racing that he was doing when he crashed his car.
